Ceremonies Included in Training
Wedding Ceremonies
Celebrant-led wedding ceremonies are bespoke celebrations which now make up over 40% of all weddings performed in Ireland. They may be performed at almost any location agreed upon by the couple and celebrant; indoor, outdoor, urban, rural, surrounded by nature with a large group of guests or at home with only the couple and the celebrant. The course will prepare you for all elements of wedding celebrancy; from contract design, initial contact, client meetings, script writing to music, readings, wedding enhancements, choreography and performance.
You will learn about the process for couples to have their marriage legalised and become practised in performing sample wedding ceremonies. Wedding enhancements include Celtic handfasting, unity candle, wine box, sand, ring warming among many many more! Wedding ceremonies bring joy and light to all those involved, including the celebrant.
Vow Renewal Ceremonies
Vow renewal ceremonies are similar to weddings in their content and logistics however couples are usually more decisive about what type of ceremony they would like to create, recreate or avoid upon reflection of their original wedding ceremony. Couples not only like to mark pivotal decade anniversaries but they often choose a vow renewal to celebrate life together after a major event in their lives together such as a health scare, marriage reunion following a separation or to include their children who may not have been present first time round. Vow renewals are a wonderful reminder of lasting love.

Naming Ceremonies
Naming ceremonies are becoming more and more popular; with legal changes to school enrolment policies, parents are no longer confined by school patronage restrictions and baptism. Welcoming a new baby or an older child into the family is such a beautiful family occasion surrounded by love, warmth and nurture. You will learn about enhancements such as wishing tree, bubble and memory box ceremonies. Naming ceremonies are full of fun, laughter and a deep sense of belonging.
Milestone Ceremonies
Milestone Ceremonies can be a modern-day alternative to school-age religious sacraments; however they may also mark any milestone event throughout a lifetime such as new pet, health recovery, divorce, retirement or book/art exhibition launch. This is a growing area of celebrancy business which can be embraced by innovative, inspiring and creative celebrants. Milestone or Coming of Age ceremonies can be the first opportunity for a young person to help organise and celebrate themselves and their achievements through e.g. themed parties, kite flying, time capsules, tree planting etc. Milestone ceremony ideas are limitless, exciting and evolving.
