Training as a professional celebrant provides you with the skills and tools necessary in order to create and deliver the most momentous ceremonies for your clients. As times, beliefs and interests change in society, so too do individuals desire a more bespoke ceremony for the most important occasions in their lives. Weddings, vow renewals, baby namings, celebration of life (funerals) and alternatives to in-school religious sacraments may all be designed and delivered by professional celebrants. Whether you choose to make it a full-time career or wish to balance it with other work or family commitments, working as a professional celebrant allows you to work in a fulfilling, life changing and affirming role; full of love and family. Whether officiating a wedding or a celebration of life, the celebrant is pivotal to creating a beautifully memorable occasion for all.

Our training is carried out over 5 days; either consecutively or over two weekends. We also have 3 Day Wedding, Commitment and Vow Renewal Only Training. Most training takes place in the premises of Hive Education in Grattan Square in the beautiful coastal town of Dungarvan; however from time to time our training takes places in other centres nationwide. The course is delivered by professional celebrants, voice coaches, marketing specialists, photographers and financial advisors. You will receive a advice on your celebrant toolkit with all the ceremonial essentials, expert training, tips, advice and social media set-up including professional photography (selected courses), so that by the end of training you are immediately prepared to begin your exciting new career as a professional celebrant. You will also be added to our online directory of celebrants upon request.
